José San Juan Pérez

José San Juan Pérez has had a varied work experience, beginning in 2014 when they were a Student Intern at the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology SIT. José then moved to Yones as an iOS Development Lead in the same year. In 2015, they worked as a Junior Java Developer at BQ. In 2016, they worked as a Security Developer at I4S Innovation4Security. In 2018, they were a Sec DevOps at BBVA Next Technologies. Most recently, they have been the Chief Security Officer at GATACA since 2019.

José San Juan Pérez began their educational journey in 1997 at Lycée Français de Madrid where they earned a Baccalauréat Scientifique in 2009. José then attended Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where they obtained an Ingeniero Superior de Telecomunicaciones in 2015. In 2013, they began their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science at Technische Universität Darmstadt, which they completed in 2015. In 2017, they earned a Máster en Ciberseguridad from VIU - Universidad Internacional de Valencia. José has also obtained two additional certifications: an AWS Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2019 and a MCD Integration and API Associate (Mule 3.7) from MuleSoft in 2016.
