Samuel Gómez Escalante has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2007 as a Software Engineer at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. In 2009, they worked as a Software Developer at Setelsa, developing industrial applications to manage building access, VoIP, and SCADA using embedded systems, RFID technologies, and industrial communications. In 2010, they worked as a Software Developer at Indra, analyzing and developing the CRM of Gas Natural Fenosa. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as an Analyst/Programmer at Groupe PSA, serving as the technical responsible for the used car department, and developing web services for the valuation of used vehicles in all of Europe. In 2016, they worked as a Sec Ops - Software Engineer at I4S Innovation4Security. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Lead Software Engineer at CASE on IT. During this time, they also worked as a Lead Software Architect at Grant Thornton Spain, coordinating teams and developing web and computer applications. In 2020, they began working as a CTO at Gataca, and as a SSI Domain Expert for the European Commission's EBSI initiative.
Samuel Gómez Escalante has a diverse educational background. In 2021, they obtained a Startup Exchange SPOC- Entrepreneurial Negotiations certification from MIT xPRO. From 2009 to 2010, they obtained a Master Eti in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Universidad de Cantabria. From 2001 to 2008, they obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
