Steve Hargin

Steve Hargin has a diverse work experience in the airline industry. Steve is currently serving as the Vice President of Air Operations at Gate 1 Travel since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Hawaiian Airlines as the Manager of International Pricing from January 2020 to October 2021.

Steve had a long tenure at Emirates where they held various roles, including Director of Leisure Sales from April 2014 to January 2020, and Leisure Sales Manager, USA from September 2011 to March 2014. During their time at Emirates, they led a team of eight professionals and developed strategies to maximize revenue and market share in the leisure travel market. Steve also implemented a successful Tour Operator program in the USA and expanded responsibilities in the student travel sector.

Before Emirates, Steve worked at Lufthansa as a Product Manager, Special Sales, USA from December 2003 to September 2011. In this role, they led a team of four and focused on maximizing sales in special markets such as Tour Operators, Student Operators, Ski Operators, and Au Pair Operators.

Prior to Lufthansa, Steve worked at STA Travel as an Air Products Manager, where they negotiated and managed airline contracts for STA Travel USA. Steve also worked at Council Travel as an Air Products Manager, where they had similar responsibilities.
