Tinì Gattazzo

Tin Lai currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Fait Corporation, focusing on autonomy system architecture for Advanced Air Mobility and developing AI technologies for various applications. Previously, Tin held roles as a Computer/Machine Learning Scientist at Mission Systems Pty Ltd, where advancements in mission optimization and robotics systems were achieved, and as a Machine Learning Engineer at Shoal Group, specializing in underwater object detection. Tin’s academic involvement includes positions at the University of Sydney as both a Teaching Assistant and Academic Staff, contributing to machine learning and data science education. Tin holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Robotics, along with dual bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Structural Engineering from the University of Sydney. Tenure as an invited researcher at Japan’s National Institute of Informatics and earlier freelance software development work further underscore a broad skill set in technology and engineering.
