Owner and Managing Director Jo Palmer fell in love with travel early in life, excited by the international networks of people and experiences that travel creates. 

With a vision of marketing the world’s most attractive and exciting travel destinations while working with creative, driven people, in March 1998 she created Gate 7.

Launched as a tourism representation specialist in the fields of sales, marketing and public relations, today Gate 7’s core competencies also include MICE, consumer marketing, events, digital marketing and media buying (in partnership with Razor). 

Over the years, the agency has grown selectively but has always remained true to its niche competency: tourism. It continues to be important for the company to only work with clients the team feels 100 per cent passionate about.
