Meritxell Teixido

Meritxell Teixido's work experience begins in 1998, when they worked as a Research Assistant at Universitat de Barcelona. In 2003, they served as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Florida for one year. Starting in 2006, they joined IRB Barcelona as a Research Associate, where they worked for fourteen years until September 2020. The company is focused on conducting biomedical research and improving people's quality of life. In July 2020, Meritxell Teixido became the CEO/CSO of Gate2Brain, a position they currently hold.

Meritxell Teixido has a diverse education history. Meritxell obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with a specialization in Organic Chemistry from Universitat de Barcelona, where they studied from 1992 to 1997. Meritxell then pursued a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from the same university and completed it in 1998. Furthermore, Meritxell graduated with an Executive MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in 2022.
