Chris Houston

Chris Houston has over two decades of experience in writing and education. Since October 1999, Chris serves as a Senior Writer at Gatehouse Media, focusing on columns and feature articles. Prior to this role, Chris worked as a Visiting Professor of Sociology/Criminology at Lander University from August 1993 to August 1998, where responsibilities included teaching undergraduate courses and coordinating internships for sociology majors. Chris holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Central Missouri, earned between 1977 and 1980.
