Rod Linsley

Contracts Specialist & Online Content Creator at Gatekeeper

Rod Linsley has a diverse range of work experience spanning several companies. Rod started their career in 1973 and worked for various companies until 1995, gaining valuable experience in different roles during this time. In 1995, Rod joined Brambles Industries Limited as the Manager of Information Technology, where they managed IT infrastructure-related activities and handled IT supply contracts with both Australian and global scope. Rod also took on the role of Manager of Group Technology, where they project managed IT infrastructure-related activities and updated contracts to accommodate business acquisition and divestment activities. In 2007, Rod joined British American Tobacco as a Consultant, where they developed global data center consolidation and outsourcing templates and managed the bidder Q&A process for RFP responses. Later that year, they joined WorleyParsons as the Manager of Contract Services for the IT Group VMO and Corporate Procurement Group. In this role, they worked closely with the Sourcing team on complex ICT-related procurement activities and reviewed and negotiated terms and conditions in several hundred IT contracts. Rod also played a key role in developing and managing tenders for various IT services. Rod's most recent role was at Gatekeeper, where they worked as a Contracts Specialist & Online Content Creator. Rod prepared content for the Gatekeeper blog and reviewed the terms and conditions of contracts with suppliers. Rod has gained extensive experience in managing contracts, suppliers, and related risk throughout their career.

From 1980 to 1988, Rod Linsley attended the University of Technology Sydney, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAppSc) degree in Computer Science.
