Rod Waldie

Rod Waldie has been CEO & Partner at Gateley Plc since July 2012. Prior to that, they served as Standards Committee Chair at Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council from January 2008 to July 2012. Rod also worked as a lawyer at Halliwells LLP from September 2004 to July 2010.

Rod Waldie began their career as a trainee solicitor at Halliwells Landau in 2002. Rod qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and worked at the firm until it went into administration in 2010. Rod then joined Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council as Standards Committee Chair in January 2008. In this role, they worked closely with the Council Monitoring Officer to handle conduct issues reported to the Council. In July 2012, they joined Gateley LLP as a partner, and became CEO & Partner of the company in July 2012.

Rod Waldie attended Hulme Grammar School Oldham before studying LLB Law (Hons) at The University of Manchester.
