Iva Petrosino

Iva Petrosino has a wide range of work experience in communications and media. In 2019, they served as the Director of Communications for the Gates Chili Central School District, where they led internal and external communication efforts and maintained the district's website and social media presence. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Communications Specialist for Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES, where they curated content for various media platforms, led crisis communications efforts, and advised on social media best practices. Before that, they worked as a News Producer for 13WHAM ABC and as a Morning News Producer and Fill-In Assignment Editor for WWBT/NBC12 Raycom Media. Iva also has experience in reporting and producing for VCU InSight and contributing writing for The Commonwealth Times. Overall, Iva has demonstrated strong skills in communication strategy, media production, and crisis management throughout their career.

Iva Petrosino completed a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University, which they attended from 2005 to 2009.
