Jeff McKinney has a diverse work experience in various educational institutions and organizations. Jeff started their career in 1998 as a Science Teacher at Brighton Central School District and worked there until 2003. From 2005 to 2011, they served as the Director of Athletics at Greece Central School District. In 2011, they briefly worked as the Director of Athletics at Byron Bergen Schools. From 2012 to 2016, they held the positions of IT Coordinator and Assistant Principal at Batavia City School District. In 2010, they founded and became the President of Anna's Wish, Inc., a non-profit organization. Jeff also worked as a National Official for PAVO and USA Volleyball, starting in 2006 and 2008 respectively. Most recently, in June 2021, they joined Gates Chili Central School District as the Director of Technology.
Jeff McKinney attended SUNY Geneseo from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology. Jeff then pursued further education at SUNY Brockport from 1996 to 2000, earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Secondary Science Education. Continuing their academic journey, they returned to SUNY Brockport in 2003 and is currently pursuing a Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) in Educational Administration and Supervision.
