Barbara Spicek

Barbara Spicek serves as CEO of GatesAir, a global leader in next generation over-the-air broadcast solutions for radio and television. Spicek leverages over 20 years of broadcast technology and software experience to drive GatesAir's innovation and excellence in wireless over-the-air solutions.

Spicek was most recently President and General Manager at NewTek, part of the Vizrt Group. Prior to that she held positions as Senior Vice President of Channels & Ecosystem at Veritas and Global VP of Sales at Gigamon. Spicek served as Executive Vice President of Global Sales at Nexan Storage Solutions, preceded by 13 years of senior sales and marketing roles at Brocade Communications, including Vice President Global Sales & Marketing.

She has a track record as a proactive, innovative and strategic business executive and building and accelerating business revenues and defining companies direction and culture – a change agent at heart. She holds numerous industry awards and recognition such as CRN's 100 Most Powerful Women, Industry Maverick and others. Spicek is widely recognized as a sales, marketing and ecosystem advocate and speaks frequently at industry events.
