Daniel Coonan

Daniel Coonan has a strong background in education, with over 10 years of experience. Daniel currently serves as the Campus Principal at Higher Learning Academy, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice Principal at Higher Learning Academy from 2019 to 2022. From 2016 to 2022, they served as a Curriculum Coach at Community Outreach Academy. Daniel's teaching experience includes roles as a 2nd Grade Teacher at Higher Learning Academy from 2011 to 2016, and as a 3rd Grade Teacher at Merryhill Preparatory School from 2006 to 2011.

Daniel Coonan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of California, Davis, which they obtained from 2001 to 2005. Daniel later earned a Teaching Credential from CalState Teach in 2008-2009. In 2015-2016, they obtained an Administrative Credential from Reach University. Recently, from 2016 to 2018, they completed a Master's degree in Educational Leadership at the American College of Education.
