Joanna Ale has extensive experience in counseling and social services, currently serving as a Primary Counselor at Gateway Community Services since May 2011, specializing in adolescents with addiction issues. Additionally, Joanna has been involved with the University of North Florida since August 2007, where responsibilities include teaching SAT/ACT prep to high school students. Previous roles include Child Protective Investigator with the Florida Department of Children and Families, where Joanna conducted investigations related to child welfare, Therapeutic Support Staff at Enhanced Treatment Center for Children, and Adult Case Manager at Mental Health Resource Center. Joanna began their career as a Primary Advisor for Adult Mental Health at Community Services Group. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of North Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Secondary Education from Lycoming College.
