Laura Colacurcio

Laura Colacurcio currently serves as the Deputy Director of Government and Community Affairs at the Gateway Development Commission, a position held since July 2025. Prior to this role, Laura worked as the External Affairs Manager for the Gateway Program at Amtrak from January 2023 to July 2025. Laura's career includes significant experience at the Association For A Better New York, where Laura held multiple roles, including Vice President, Acting Executive Director, and Deputy Director from July 2019 to January 2023. Earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Operations at the Citizens Budget Commission, overseeing administration, board development, and event planning from June 2010 to June 2019. Laura began career involvement as a Development Associate and subsequently a Senior Account Manager at Charity Folks, Inc., and held various roles in public relations and marketing at organizations including the New York Rangers and Disc Orthopaedic Technologies. Laura earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a Minor in Economics from the University of Delaware in 2007.
