David Collins

David Collins has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. David started their career in 1982 as a Machinest Mate 2nd Class in the US Navy, where they held various positions in machinery engineering. After leaving the navy in 1987, they worked as a Headwaiter at Pappas Restaurants, Inc. while attending college. During this time, they successfully financed their college expenses without student loans. In 1994, Collins joined Gateway Logistics Group, Inc. as a System Manager, responsible for the control and support of the company's corporate systems. David later progressed to the role of Director - IT & Administration, where they provided operational control and management for all aspects of Gateway's corporate systems worldwide. Collins was also involved in successfully completing the validation of three corporate C-TPAT certifications and the integration of internal Government compliance programs. In addition, they worked at Gateway International Transport, Inc. as a System Administrator and later as an International Ocean Coordinator/Supervisor, where they supervised staff in handling client's cargo via ocean and conducted outside sales activities.

David Collins completed their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies at Columbia College between 1986 and 1987. David then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Marketing at the University of Houston, which they obtained between 1988 and 1994. Additionally, David Collins holds a certification in MCSE from Microsoft, although the specific month and year of completion are not provided.
