Michaela Joines

Michaela Joines is an experienced professional in creative design and communication, currently serving as the Director of Creative and Design at Gateway Region YMCA since October 2018. In this role, Michaela oversees association-wide design initiatives, including philanthropy support, external partnerships, and environmental graphics. Prior experience includes the position of Creative and Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer at Greenbush - The Southeast Kansas Education Service Center, where Michaela focused on communication projects and promotional materials. Additionally, Michaela has worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Pittsburg State University, facilitating courses in speech communication and advertising, and held various roles in marketing and communication, including copywriting and graphic design at LimeLight Marketing LLC. Michaela holds a Master of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Pittsburg State University.
