James Garrity

James Garrity has over 25 years of experience in various leadership roles in logistics and supply chain management. James began their career in 1995 as a Forwarding Agent at Ormonde Freight Services and has since held positions such as Export Manager at Markham International and Branch Manager at Canadian Worldwide Express. James then worked as an Operations Manager at Quarterback Transportation before joining Challenger as a Logistics Operations Manager. Mr. Garrity continued to advance in their career, taking on roles such as Director of Operations at NFI and General Manager of Logistics at Challenger. James later worked as the Vice President of Ontario Operations at Delmar International Inc. and as the Vice President of Operations at Danby Appliances. Currently, Mr. Garrity holds the position of Vice President & General Manager for Canada at Gateway Services Inc. throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in managing and developing supply chain solutions, expanding operations, and leading teams effectively.

James Garrity's education history includes obtaining a Diploma in Business Administration from CDI College in 2004-2006. In 2008-2009, they completed an Advanced Freight Forwarder Certificate program at CIFFA. James then pursued a PMP in Project Management at the University of Waterloo, completing it in 2015. Currently, they are a CCLP Candidate, specializing in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management at CITT, with an expected completion in 2024.
