Jennifer Hyde

Jennifer Hyde (Whiting) has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Jennifer started their career in 2003 as a Sidewalk Surveyor at the City Of Guelph and subsequently worked as a Concrete Finisher in 2004. In 2005, they served as a General Maintenance Summer Student at the City of Guelph.

Moving into the marketing field, Jennifer joined Organic Meadow Inc. in 2005 as a Marketing Coordinator. Jennifer worked their way up to become a Product Manager in 2009. Their responsibilities included developing and executing marketing and advertising programs, measuring ROI, copywriting, and presenting to key stakeholders. Jennifer also managed social media, packaging design, trade shows, and marketing collateral. Jennifer successfully wrote and applied for government grants and built strong relationships with co-packers and stakeholders. Jennifer managed a marketing coordinator and administrator during their time at Organic Meadow Inc.

In 2014, Jennifer transitioned to the Ontario Natural Food Coop as a Brand Manager for their private label. Their work involved managing marketing activities, trade show management, sales, advertising, packaging design, and PR management. Jennifer developed marketing and communications plans, addressed customer inquiries, and created brand standards. Jennifer acted as a liaison between producers and processors for new product development.

Jennifer's most recent role was at Gateway Services Inc., starting in 2016 as a Product Development Manager. Jennifer was responsible for driving organizational growth through strategic portfolio management and developing new products based on briefs from the CX team. Jennifer secured strategic partnerships to unlock marketing and sales opportunities. In 2020, they took on the role of Marketing Manager at Gateway Services Inc. before transitioning to their current role as Director, Portfolio & Partnerships, where they are focused on driving growth through strategic portfolio management and partnerships.
