Shay Porat

Shay Porat has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Shay holds a role as the Director of Information Technology Operations & Infrastructure at Gateway Services Inc. since 2023. Previously, they worked at Ezra as the Offices and IT Manager from 2020 to 2022, where they also took on the additional responsibility of being the IT and Cybersecurity Manager. Shay has experience in managing IT departments and implementing IT systems, having worked as the Head of IT and Security Departments at Pontis in 2014-2015, and as the End User Services Manager for Israel and EMEA at SanDisk from 2012 to 2014. Shay also has experience in project management and change management, having worked as the Technical & Business Operations Manager at Amdocs from 2015 to 2018, and as the Fab1 Diffusion Team Manager at Tower Semiconductor LTD from 2003 to 2005. Shay has an educational background as well, having pursued an MBA from Brock University and worked as an Instructor Assistant at the University of Haifa.

Shay Porat holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Haifa, which was obtained between 2004 and 2007. In addition, they have completed a Master of Business Administration in Business Analytics from the Goodman School of Business at Brock University, earning the degree between 2018 and 2019. Porat also possesses certifications in IT management, including ITIL foundations V3 from the HP Education Center in 2013 and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) from John Brice Hi-tech College in 2010. In 2015, they attended the HP Education Center to acquire further knowledge in ITIL CSI.
