Fay Ji

Fay Ji has over 19 years of work experience in various financial roles. Fay started their career in 2001 as an accounting professional in large and midsize public and private companies. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a controller at Maryvale. In 2018, they served as a controller at CSUDH Corporate & Foundation Relations. In 2017, they joined SPIRITT Family Services as a controller and associate controller until 2020. During their time at Multiple nonprofit clients with Federal/State/Local governmental contracts & grants, starting in 2013, they provided nonprofit senior financial consulting services and served as a CFO. From 2019 to 2020, they were a CFO consultant and then Chief Financial Officer at COUNSELING RESEARCH & ASSOCIATES DBA MASADA HOMES. Fay'scurrent position is Chief Financial Officer at Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center, which they started in September 2020.

Fay Ji obtained a Bachelor's degree in History Teacher Education from Soochow University (CN) between 1997 and 2001. Fay later pursued a Master's degree in Accounting from the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Los Angeles, from 2007 to 2009.

Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center, a visionary leader in providing community based services to the mentally ill since opening its first 12-bed facility in 1953, was founded with the belief that those with little or no resources should have access to the same high quality services available as those with the ability to pay. Our Mission is to create and maintain mental health facilities and programs, including an acute care psychiatric hospital, to serve the needs of mentally ill and emotionally disturbed and maladjusted persons requiring inpatient, outpatient, and rehabilitation services, treatment and care regardless of race, creed, national origin or gender, including persons referred to or placed in such facilities or programs by courts or other public agencies. Our programs / services include: Hospital Inpatient Services (Adolescent and Adult), Child and Adolescent Outpatient Services, Forensic Programs (including Condition Release and Community Reintegration programs), Homeless Services, Residential Programs and a Wellness Center.
