Nyambura Karita

Nyambura Karita currently serves as the Deputy Director at Gatsby Africa since October 2023. Prior to this role, Nyambura held various positions at Sendy Ltd from June 2020 to July 2023, including Chief Operating Officer and VP Expansion, where responsibilities encompassed operationalizing offices in Cote D'Ivoire and Nigeria, as well as providing legal strategic advice as VP Legal. Nyambura's earlier experience includes a tenure as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company from October 2016 to February 2020, and as a Senior Associate at Mboya Wangong'u & Waiyaki, focusing on corporate and commercial law. Nyambura began legal career as a Legal Associate at the same firm and worked as a Paralegal at Clarkslegal LLP. Academic qualifications include an LL.M. in International Finance from King's College London, an LL.B. from the University of Nairobi, and an ACCA in Accounting and Finance from Strathmore University, complemented by training from the Law Society of England & Wales.
