Zainab Janowalla

Zainab Janowalla is an experienced professional in the environmental sector, currently serving as Industry Manager at Gatsby Africa since April 2022. Prior to this role, Zainab worked as an Industry Associate - Environmental Specialist at Msingi East Africa from March 2020 to April 2022. Zainab also contributed as a Research Assistant for the FLEXIS PROJECT, focusing on the redevelopment of Milford Haven into a zero carbon zone in 2018. Zainab gained early experience as an intern with UN Environment, working with the Scientific Adviser Team of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species from July 2016 to January 2017. Zainab holds a Master's degree in Applied Environmental Geology from Cardiff University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geoscience from the University of Bristol.
