Kellen Barber

Kellen Barber has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in software engineering and web development. They are currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Gatsby, where they started in 2022. Before that, Kellen worked at Conversion Logix from 2020 to 2022, holding positions as a Software Developer and later as a Senior Software Developer.

Prior to Conversion Logix, Kellen served as a Software Engineer at Nordstrom from 2017 to 2020. In this role, they focused on software development and maintenance.

Their earlier experiences include working as a Software Developer at OMNI Retail Group from 2016 to 2017, where they utilized modern JavaScript technologies to build and maintain an advanced selector engine. They also developed a portal using React and Node.js for data specialists to identify and rectify errors in customer data.

Kellen was previously employed as a Software Engineer at Trupanion - Medical insurance for your pet from 2015 to 2016, where they developed the customer-facing web portal and implemented marketing features using Sitecore.

They also worked as a Jr. Web Developer at SHOES.COM in 2015, maintaining the customer-facing website and developing tools for internal users. Additionally, Kellen has experience as a Web Developer at Blue Rooster Inc. from 2012 to 2015, where they built and maintained high-profile websites and utilized Sitecore as a content management system.

Their earliest work experience was as a Chef's Assistant at Kappa Kappa Gamma from 2010 to 2011.

Kellen Barber obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Classics and Classical Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from the University of Idaho, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Sitecore CMS .NET Developer from Sitecore in October 2012.
