Nick was appointed CFO in April 2010. Nick joined from Anglo American plc where he was General Manager of Corporate Finance. Prior to that, he worked for six years with Centrica plc in a number of senior finance roles, including Director of Group M&A, Finance Director for Centrica Energy and Finance Director for British Gas Business.
Nick has more than ten years experience in investment banking, with the majority of this time specialising in the transportation sector. He has advised governments and private investors on the financing of airports and air traffic control and has managed airport acquisition, IPO and financing transactions in the UK and internationally. Nick holds a BEng (1st Class Honours) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton.

It serves more than 228 destinations in 74 countries for over 46 million passengers a year on short and long-haul point-to-point services. It is also a major economic driver for the UK contributing £5.3 billion to national GDP and generating 85,000 jobs nationally, with around 24,000 on the wider airport campus alone. The airport is south of Central London with excellent public transport links, including the Gatwick Express, and is part of the Oyster contactless payment network.
