Austin Pittman

Austin is an Operating Partner at Gauge Capital, where he focuses on healthcare investments. Prior to Gauge, Austin held multiple key executive roles at UnitedHealth Group, including Chief Executive Officer of OptumCare, the largest ambulatory care and physician organization in the U.S., and Chief Executive Officer of United HealthCare Community & State, one of the largest Medicaid platforms in the country. Previously, Austin was with PacifiCare Health Systems where he was President of the Texas and Oklahoma markets. Austin earned an MS in healthcare delivery science from the Tuck School of Business/Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College, an MS in business & human relations at Amberton University, and a BA in sociology from McMurry University.
