Joshua DuBois is the co-founder and CEO of Gauge (Gauge.AI), a previous columnist for The Daily Beast, and a writer for Newsweek. Joshua was also the executive director of the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships during President Obama's administration.

Joshua DuBois has dedicated their career to public service. Joshua began their work in 2009 as the executive director of the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships. In this role, they were President Obama's primary liaison with community-based and faith-based organizations. Joshua helped to lead the former president's portfolio on issues related to race and religion. Joshua managed teams in 13 federal agencies that helped nonprofits around the country better serve Americans in need. Joshua coordinated public/private partnerships for the White House, and helped the Obama Administration navigate difficult public policy issues related to religion, race and values.

After their time in the White House, Joshua DuBois became a columnist for The Daily Beast. Joshua wrote The Daily Beast / Newsweek's regular community solutions column, profiling innovative community and faith-based organizations and leaders that are changing the world around them. In 2013, they also began writing for Newsweek magazine. Joshua has written four cover stories for Newsweek, including "The Fight for Black Men," which historian Taylor Branch called "stunning."

Most recently, Joshua DuBois is the co-founder and CEO of Gauge (Gauge.AI). Gauge is a platform that allows businesses to get feedback from their customers through text messaging. The company was founded in 2017

Joshua DuBois graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government. Joshua then went on to attend Princeton University, where they earned a Master of Public Affairs in the same field.
