Gourav Jyoti Kalita

Gourav Jyoti Kalita is a research scholar at Gauhati University, involved in a PhD program focusing on Deep Learning and Remote Sensing since February 2022. Previous experience includes a research internship at the North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC) from January to May 2023, working on Machine Learning and Deep Learning applications in remote sensing, and a trainee role at NESAC in August 2023, participating in a training program on Remote Sensing and GIS in agriculture. Additional training has been completed at NESAC on the basics of Remote Sensing and GIS, and at Tripura University on artificial intelligence and machine learning. Gourav holds a Master’s degree in Electronics from Gauhati University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics from Sibsagar College.
