Ivo-Alexander Beck

Ivo-Alexander Beck joined Gaumont in July 2019 as Executive Producer. In this capacity he is currently developing series for ZDF, SAT.1 and Amazon. His recent productions include the True Crime series “Zersetzt”, „Zerschunden” and “Zerbrochen”, based on the bestselling novels by Prof. Michael Tsokos. Berlin-born Ivo-Alexander studied German and drama studies in Jena and Berlin. He went on to work as a First AD and dramatic advisor for various production companies. In 1992 he joined Sat.1 as in-house producer. In the following years, he commissioned numerous series and TV movies, among others the internationally successful show “Kommissar Rex”. In November 2009 he founded Ninety-Minute Film GmbH. As CEO he produced over 50 TV movies, feature films and series. “Für meine Tochter” (ZDF) was shown at the Munich Film Festival and the comedy “Liebe auf Persisch” (ARD) was the the first foreign film to be shot in Iran since the revolution of 1978. His drama “Die Ungehorsame” (Sat.1) was awarded the 3sat Audience Prize at the Fernseh-Film-Festival Baden-Baden. His comedy “Barfuß bis zum Hals” was awarded the German Comedy Prize and nominated for the Grimme and German Television Awards.
