Since Sidonie Dumas entered the Cinema Business and was appointed CEO of Gaumont in 2010, she created a strategy of producing movies from all walks of life and developed Gaumont’s Television branch in the US in order to be more forward-looking. Thanks to this policy, Gaumont started producing international content like TV-shows such as Narcos, which was nominated BEST TELEVISION SERIES DRAMA and BEST PERFORMANCE BY AN ACTOR IN A TELEVISION SERIES, allowing the Company to gain international stature. As she pursues the eclectic artistic investment that shapes Gaumont’s notoriety, Sidonie Dumas has produced many films that have exceeded millions of views, including The Intouchables, which alone attracted nearly 50 million viewers worldwide, becoming not only the biggest hit of Gaumont, but also the 2nd biggest French hit of all time.
