Carina Stegmayer

Carina Stegmayer has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Carina is currently a Co-Founder at GauVendi, a start-up that provides AI-driven hyperpersonalization for the hospitality sector. Carina is also a founding member of the World Hospitality Alliance, where they offer consultancy services for retail in hospitality.

Previously, Carina served as the Director of Client Management at BD4 - Human Touch E-Commerce, where they successfully set up a customer success management team and implemented support workflows. Before that, they held the position of Head of Customer Success Management & Advisory Services at MountLytics, where they were responsible for client acquisition, onboarding, and account management.

Carina has extensive experience at WorldHotels, where they held various roles including VP Global Operations, VP Business Development Services, VP Full Licence and Global Project Management, and VP Global Revenue & Distribution. In these roles, they were involved in sales, marketing, operational management, and account management. Carina was also responsible for process optimization, automation, and global rate and distribution strategy. Prior to WorldHotels, Carina worked at Pegasus Solutions as an Assistant to the Vice President and at Lufthansa as a Cabin Attendant.

Carina Stegmayer began their education at Colegio Andino in Bogota, Colombia, where they obtained their A-Level qualification for university entrance from 1978 to 1992. Following this, they attended Akademie für Betriebswirtschaft und Welthandelsprachen from 1995 to 1998, majoring in Tourism Management. From 1993 to 1995, Carina studied International Cultures - Ibero Romanian Cultures at Universität Passau. In addition to their formal education, Carina has obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership from LinkedIn in August 2020, Scrum Master from Scrum.org in January 2018, HSMAI Revenue Management from HSMAI in August 2017, Female Leadership Coaching: Größe von Innen from Proaching in July 2017, Change Management from Haufe Akademie GmbH & Co. KG in September 2008, Situational Leadership from The Ken Blanchard Companies in May 2001, and Train the Trainer Certification from Pegasus in May 1999.
