Dorna Moini is the CEO and Founder of Gavel, an automation infrastructure for legal professionals to enhance client service. Prior to founding Gavel, Dorna founded HelpSelf Legal, a consumer-facing legal product. Dorna has previous experience as an Associate at Sidley Austin LLP, where Dorna specialized in defending companies in various legal cases. Additionally, Dorna has worked as a Judicial Law Clerk at the UN International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. Dorna also has experience as a Student Clinical Supervisor at the USC Post-Conviction Justice Project and as a Field Consultant to SOS Esclaves at the Open Society Institute. Dorna holds a B.A. in Economics from New York University, a J.D. from USC Gould School of Law, and has studied at Sciences Po.
