Hannah Elizabeth Kettler

Hannah Elizabeth Kettler is a seasoned professional in global health and vaccine financing, currently serving as the Head of Global Health Security at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance since October 2021. In previous roles, Kettler held significant positions such as Director of Design and Operationalization for COVAX and Director for Vaccine Financing and Partnerships at PATH. A former member of the Health Policy Advisor Board at Gilead Sciences, Kettler also contributed to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for over 15 years, leading efforts to enhance partnerships with life sciences companies and increase financing for global health R&D. Academic experience includes serving as a Senior Lecturer in Applied Health Economics at MIT Sloan School of Management and leading a Rockefeller Foundation-funded program at the University of California, San Francisco. Kettler holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and degrees in Economics and Urban Planning from Bard College.
