Mario Jimenez

Mario Jimenez serves as the Senior Atlantic Fellow for Health Equity at The George Washington University since January 2024. Prior to this role, Mario has been with Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance since June 2015, holding various titles including Senior Country Manager for Mozambique and Burundi, Programme Manager for Pakistan, and Programme Officer for Afghanistan, Haiti, and Sudan. Mario's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Health Economics and Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science, along with several certificates from prestigious institutions such as Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Additionally, Mario has experience as a Financial Markets Associate at Thomson Reuters and as a Financial Analyst at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN).
