Yoshinobu Nagamine is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in resource mobilization and partnerships in the humanitarian and health sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager for Resource Mobilization, Private Sector Partnerships & Innovative Finance at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, since July 2018, Yoshinobu has successfully managed significant private sector partnerships and raised substantial funds, including over US$ 500M from sovereign donors and US$ 60M from the private sector. Prior to this role, Yoshinobu was Head of Unit at the International Committee of the Red Cross, focusing on fundraising and business development in Asia, where yearly contributions rose to US$ 100M. Yoshinobu's earlier experience includes advisory roles in the Japanese government and various positions within the ICRC, where disaster response efforts during the Great East Japan Earthquake were notably impactful. Academically, Yoshinobu holds an Executive MBA from IMD, a PhD in Human Security Studies from The University of Tokyo, and multiple degrees in finance and international relations from prestigious institutions.
