Ben manages numerous residential protective teams and close protection details, including overseeing large-scale motorcade movements. He began his career at GDBA as a protector of public figures, including leading details at motion picture studios, during music tours, and at sporting events.
He has worked with the U.S. Secret Service, the Diplomatic Security Service, the FBI, the CIA, and MI6 during the planning and implementation of security operations involving at-risk clients, U.S. Presidents, and foreign heads of state. He is Senior Liaison between the clients and federal law enforcement agencies during National Special Security Events (NSSE), including the Democratic and Republican National Conventions and the Super Bowl.
Ben has consulted on the development of protection strategies regarding difficult terminations and reductions of force at Fortune-500 companies. He has also managed protective details at shareholders’ meetings involving high-profile executives.
Ben was a Deputy Sheriff for a metro-area sheriff’s office as well as a Captain for a metro-area police department. He served in numerous capacities in law enforcement to include leading Uniform Patrol and Investigations Divisions.
He served in the United States Air Force’s elite Security Forces Group, where he protected government officials in Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
Ben is an Armed Security Officer (ASO) through the Federal Air Marshals, which certifies him to oversee armed charter flight operations to the Washington Reagan National Airport.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social and Criminal Justice. He is President of the Southeast Chapter of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP).
