Ben Zeifman

Vice President, Protective Security Division at Gavin de Becker & Associates

Ben Zeifman, CPP has extensive work experience in the field of protective security and law enforcement. Ben began their career at Gavin de Becker & Associates, where they worked as a protector of public figures and later rose to the position of Vice President of the Protective Security Division. In this role, they led a division of protectors and oversaw client engagement and relationships. Ben also worked for a law enforcement agency/government, where they served in various roles, including Captain and Senior Advisor to the Chief of Police. Ben was responsible for operational oversight, community-oriented policing, and developing outward-facing communications. Prior to this, Ben served in the United States Air Force Security Forces, specializing in law enforcement duties and dignitary protection. Overall, Ben has a strong background in protective security, law enforcement, and leadership.

Ben Zeifman, CPP, holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Social and Criminal Justice from Ashford University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2012. Ben also holds an Associate in Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice from the Community College of the Air Force, obtained from 2002 to 2004. In addition to their education, Ben has obtained several certifications, including Certified Protection Professional (CPP) from ASIS International in 2023, Federal Air Marshal (FAMS) / Armed Security Officer (ASO) from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2018, and Advanced Threat Assessment Academy from Gavin de Becker & Associates in 2013. Ben also holds certifications in various areas such as Private Detective and Security License, Interviews and Interrogations, Police Officer/Law Enforcement Officer/Peace Officer Certification (POST), and LEOSA (HR218).
