Francis Lam

Francis Lam has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Francis started their career at OCBC Bank as a Treasury Sales employee from September 2007 to October 2008. Francis then moved to Xiamen International Bank, where they worked in Correspondent Banking from October 2008 to June 2011. Following that, they joined Standard Chartered Bank as an Associate Director for China Corporates from June 2011 to June 2018. Currently, Francis Lam is employed with Gaw Capital as an Associate Director in the Corporate Finance department since June 2018.

Francis Lam's education history begins in 2001 when they enrolled at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Francis pursued a Bachelor's degree in Physics, which they completed in 2004 after three years of study.

After that, Francis went on to join Monash University in 2004 to pursue a Master's degree. This degree was in the field of International Business, and they completed it in 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Francis has also obtained several certifications. In 2009, they earned the Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from the GARP FRM Program. Francis further enhanced their financial expertise by obtaining the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Charterholder designation from the CFA Institute in November 2012. Most recently, in August 2020, they achieved the Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA®) certification from the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI).
