Tie Hu Liu

Tie hu Liu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tie hu most recently served as the Chief Compliance Officer at GC ADVISORS LTD starting in 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Legal Counsel at Gaw Capital for over a decade, starting in 2006. Tie hu also gained legal experience as an Attorney at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP from 2001 to 2004. Their earlier career includes serving as an Assistant in the New York City Corporation Counsel's Office from 1992 to 1995.

Tie hu Liu pursued their education in a well-thought-out manner, obtained a variety of degrees, and focused on subjects related to law and economics. Tie hu began their educational journey at the University of International Business and Economics in 1979 and completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1984. After a few years, they enrolled at the University of Connecticut School of Law, where they dedicated himself to the study of law, earning a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from 1989 to 1992. Later on, they aspired to deepen their understanding of tax law and enrolled at the New York University School of Law, where they pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree specifically in the field of Tax from 1999 to 2001.
