Zaida Nazarali-Ladhani is a seasoned professional in the field of microbiology and quality control, currently serving as the Quality Control Manager at Gay Lea Foods since March 2008, with previous experience as Quality Control Supervisor. Responsibilities include product and process analysis, reporting, and collaboration with production staff on sanitation and hygiene protocols. Prior roles include Microbiology Technologist at the Ministry of Environment in Toronto and Microbiology Analyst at Silliker Canada, where expertise in food product quality assurance, environmental monitoring, and microbiological analyses was developed. Zaida's academic background includes a Master of Science in Microbiology from Laurentian University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Mary's University, complemented by hands-on experience as an Assistant Microbiology Technologist and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Laurentian University.
