David Dodge is an experienced freelance writer and communications specialist with a diverse background in media, policy analysis, and community outreach. Currently contributing to The New York Times and Condé Nast Traveller, David writes on topics related to nontraditional families, LGBTQ community interests, and health. As the communications specialist for the Veatch Program at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock, David manages various communication materials. Additionally, David serves as the executive editor for Gays With Kids®, helping to provide resources for queer men navigating fatherhood. With previous roles that include policy analyst for the Manhattan Borough President's Office and communications manager for the Innocence Project, David combines communication expertise with a strong commitment to social justice and public policy. David holds a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from Harvard Kennedy School and dual Bachelor's degrees from New York University.
