Michelle Aramayo

Michelle Aramayo, SPHR has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources. Michelle is currently the Vice President of Human Resources at The Colorado Springs Gazette, LLC, where they previously held the role of Director of Human Resources. Prior to that, Michelle worked as a Human Resources Generalist at the same company.

Before joining The Colorado Springs Gazette, Michelle served as the Human Resources Manager at Special Kids Special Families. Michelle was responsible for managing HR activities within the organization.

Michelle also gained valuable experience as the Human Resources Coordinator at Suwannee Valley 4 C's, where they administered benefit plans, maintained employee personnel files, developed policies and procedures, and delivered various agency-driven programs.

Earlier in their career, Michelle worked as a Receptionist & Assistant to Human Resources at Sitel, where they assisted with new employee onboarding, handled benefit and pay issues, and maintained employee files. Michelle also worked as an Operations Coordinator at FASTSIGNS™, where they managed operations, performed HR duties, and ensured the smooth running of the facility.

Michelle initially started their career as a Reporter at McCook Daily Gazette, where they created stories, conducted interviews, and managed client interactions.

Michelle Aramayo, SPHR has a high school diploma from Trenton High School, obtained in 1999. In the same year, they also studied Education at McCook Community College. Additionally, they hold certifications in "Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace" from ESSEC Business School and the "Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification" from HRCI, which they obtained in April 2021.
