Hamit Solmaz

Hamit Solmaz is currently a Visiting Professor at the University of Alberta since July 2024 and has been a Profesör at Gazi Üniversitesi since March 2009. Additionally, Hamit holds previous roles such as Associate Professor and Research Assistant at Gazi Üniversitesi. Since January 2021, Hamit has also served as a Publisher at Engineering Perspective. From April 2015 to April 2016, Hamit was a Postdoctoral Scholar at Michigan Technological University, focusing on multi-mode LTC mapping of internal combustion engines. Earlier in career, Hamit worked as a Parts Consultant at Borusan Otomotiv from June 2008 to March 2009, handling parts supply and inventory control in after-sales services. Hamit obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering Technology from Gazi University in 2008.
