Jonathan Hughes has a diverse work experience. Jonathan started their career as an Audit Trainee at Grant Thornton in August 2007 and worked there until March 2008. Jonathan then joined Gazprom Marketing & Trading as a Market Risk Analyst in May 2008 and was promoted to Senior Product Controller in May 2011. Jonathan also worked as an Interim Risk Manager in Switzerland from February 2014 to August 2014. In August 2016, they became the Product Control Manager at Gazprom Marketing & Trading and later became the Head of Product Control in April 2018.
Jonathan Hughes obtained a MSc degree in Computing from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd in 2007. Prior to that, they earned a BSc degree in Accounting from the same university in 2006. In 2013, they obtained the certification of GARP Energy Risk Professional - ERP.
