Ivan Timofeev is a legal professional with extensive experience in international project legal support and regulatory affairs. Currently serving as the Deputy Head of the International Projects Directorate of the Legal Department at Gazprom since September 2020, Ivan oversees a team dedicated to legal support for international projects, regulatory matters, and EU antitrust and energy law. Previously, from May 2012 to September 2020, Ivan held the position of Head of Division for Project Legal Support and Regulatory Affairs at Gazprom Export, managing a team focused on regulatory affairs, EU competition and energy law issues, international energy infrastructure projects, and global dispute resolution. Ivan's career also includes various roles within Gazprom's Legal Directorate and earlier experience as a legal advisor at the Committee for City Property Management of Saint Petersburg. Ivan holds a Master's degree in Law and a Bachelor's degree in Law from Saint Petersburg State University.
