GBRf’s team of 1,300 people operate over 1,100 trainloads a week, moving over 20% of Britain’s rail freight with 99% reliability.

GBRf’s Train Managers are in charge of our fleet of 100 locomotives and over 1,000 wagons, transporting goods for customers including E.ON, Network Rail, EDF Energy, Sibelco, Merrill Lynch, Tarmac, Drax and Crossrail Ltd.

GBRf’s specialist teams design transport answers for industry leaders in the coal, biomass, intermodal, infrastructure, petrochemical, construction, aggregates and automotive markets.

The Operations Team at GB Railfreight is responsible for coordinating and managing the seamless execution of rail freight services. This includes overseeing the scheduling and dispatch of over 1,100 trainloads weekly, maintaining and ensuring the operational efficiency of the fleet of 100 locomotives and over 1,000 wagons, and upholding the company's 99% reliability rate. The team ensures adherence to safety and professional standards while optimizing fleet performance and asset management to meet the diverse transportation needs of clients in various industries.
