Mark Wales

Mark Wales has over two decades of experience in the maritime and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a CAD Drafter at GBA Ships e.V. since January 2001, Mark provides shore-based support for ship operations, focusing on the review and update of technical drawings, procedures, and maintenance. Previously, Mark held the position of 2nd Engineer aboard the MV Doulos and the MV Logos Hope, where responsibilities included operating and maintaining equipment as well as updating technical drawings. Prior to this role, Mark worked as a Mechanical Engineer at DeWalch Life Technologies from August 1992 to December 2000, specializing in the design and development of new products and tooling for production. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lamar University, complemented by onboard training and various shore-based courses in Marine Engineering.
