Wai Kit Kong is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in leading teams and driving strategic data initiatives. Currently serving as Data Engineering Manager at GBG Plc since July 2019, Wai Kit specializes in designing and optimizing scalable data systems, architecting robust data pipelines, and ensuring data integrity. Previously, Wai Kit held roles at Fave as Data Team Lead and Business Intelligence Analyst, where responsibilities included overseeing business dashboards and managing data warehouses. With a strong foundation in engineering established at KESM, Wai Kit progressed through various roles, culminating in Assistant Engineering Manager. Additionally, Wai Kit has experience as a franchisee and an internship at YTL Corporation Bhd, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Sheffield Hallam University in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
