Head Of Higher Education at GBM Digital Technologies

Benji Rogers began their career in 2001 as an Operational Planner at Railtrack, where they were responsible for leading a large project researching ways to replace paper-based timetabling with digital solutions. In 2004, they moved to IDAT as a Digital Developer, where they created and managed creative Digital Media solutions for the 'LiquidPress' media production facility. In 2006, they joined the University of Plymouth as an IT Manager and Technical Officer, providing specialist ICT knowledge and expertise to support the strategic direction of the Institute of Education. In 2015, they were awarded an Apple Distinguished Educator (ADE) recognition for their exemplary work using Apple and other technologies in the Education sector. In 2017, they became the Director of Technology for Millbay Academy (formerly Plymouth School of Creative Arts), leading on Digital Strategy and overseeing all network systems and sub-systems within the Academy. In 2022, they took on the role of Higher Education Lead at Sync.

Benji Rogers holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Digital Art & Technology from the University of Plymouth.
