Rich Greco

Rich Greco is a Senior Managing Director at GBX Group, where they lead the Tax Strategy team. Prior to GBX Group, Rich Greco was a Transactions Tax Partner at Ernst & Young for over three decades. In this role, they advised clients on all aspects of tax structuring and planning in connection with transactions, with a focus on M&A. Rich has extensive experience with acquisition and disposition transactions ranging from $10 million to $7 billion, particularly private equity sponsors and strategic buyers/sellers in manufacturing, distribution, health care, natural resources and financial services. Rich also focused on counseling debtors reorganizing in bankruptcy and non-court supervised workouts. At Ernst & Young, Rich Greco recruited, hired, trained and managed a multi-disciplinary team responsible for due diligence, structuring, tax advisory and post merger integration services.

Rich Greco has a Doctor of Law from Cleveland State University - Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and a BA from Franklin & Marshall College. Rich was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1982 and is also an Ohio CPA.
